An evening dedicated to the 100th anniversary

Chamber ensemble "Silhouettes" presents the performance "QUARTET FOR THE END OF TIME" by Olivier Messiaen
International Monodrama Festival "TO THE STARS"
((February 26 - March 1, 2024))
Every encounter with the End Time Quartet is a special event. It is an extraordinary work written and performed during the dark war years - on 15 January 1941 in a concentration camp for French intellectuals, including Olivier Messiaen. Today, 83 years later, it is still relevant... A deeply moving work inspired by a text from the tenth chapter of John's Revelation describing the end of the world. With a special appearance by actor Itsko Finzi, whose voice will bring the composer's words to life.
Be together with us on February 28 in the hall of the City Mark Art Center!
Tickets can be bought at the desk of City Mark Art Center (former movie theater ”Levski”), Sofia, bul. ”Yanko Sakazov” 30,
